We are looking for a Component Sourcing Engineer to strengthen our ambitious procurement team in Kaunas, Lithuania. You will work with the leading networking solutions in the world
Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:
- Evaluate technical specifications and TDS documentation to assess component suitability and identify potential alternatives.
- Search, qualify, and maintain alternative components based on technical, commercial, and supply chain requirements.
- Analyze component availability, lead times, pricing, and sourcing risks to support continuity of supply.
- Collaborate with suppliers and distributors to identify technical alternatives and obtain required compliance documentation.
- Provide technical support to the procurement team and prepare recommendations for R&D when engineering approval is required.
- Take ownership of assigned component categories, driving alternative sourcing, risk mitigation, and second-source initiatives.
What we expect of you:
- Higher education in Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
- Ability to interpret and analyze technical documentation, specifications, and compliance documents.
- Strong understanding of electronic components and their key technical parameters.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate, compare, and qualify components based on technical and supply chain criteria.
- Professional English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Experience working with suppliers, distributors, or technical sourcing activities in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Salary
We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 11 Eur/h up to 18 Eur/h (~ 1826 Eur— 2988 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.
*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
