Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Engineer – Component Engineering in Pune.

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible to support different design/Manufacturing site for Product, Part, drawing and other design related process and maintenance of various business-related documents including datasheets, functional processes, policies, engineering drawings, engineering changes, project reports, specifications, product proposals and product / Part documentation.

• Enter and maintain component data and manufacturer information & approved vendor lists in global component database.

• Create a component database for all the Electrical/Electronic & Indirect materials Quality review of the component parameter attributes from datasheets.

• Validate MPN and provide Alternates

• Monitor Component EOL and manage the component obsolescence Part of a cross-functional team in implementing product component changes within the Company

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• 4 to 7 Yrs of exp with Qualifications BE, ECE, EEE, E&TC , E&I.

• Good English communication skills.

• Experience in Manufacturing /Engineering industry preferably in electronics.

• Good organization and technical communication skills to effectively monitor and convey component end-of-life (EOL) notifications and part change notifications (PCN’s) to Purchasing and Engineering

• Familiar with circuit design principles and board layout guidelines, identifying alternate parts and manufacturers.

• Knowledge of any design software’s software like OrCAD, CIS, Allegro desirable

• Excellent communication

• Good Analytical & Logical reasoning
