JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the execution of the licensing processes and procedures at Palisades.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages regulator's commitments. Interface with the NRC Resident inspectors and inspection teams. Maintains and implements regulatory programs, including 10CFR50.59 and 10CFR72.48.
- Reviews corrective action documents and provides consultation to initiating departments on potential 10 CFR 50.72 and 10 CFR 50.73 Event reporting issues.
- Prepares, reviews and approves correspondence to the NRC, including Licensee Event Reports, license amendments, allegation responses, generic letter and NRC Order responses, and required periodic reports. Submits performance indicator data to the NRC.
- Develops and revises procedures in accordance with current regulatory and administrative requirements. Coordinates SRC activities.
- Enhances communications by performing a liaison function between various work groups. Participates in the shared resources program.
- Serves as a member of the Emergency Response Organization. Interfaces with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of station activities.
- Communicates technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position:
B.S. Degree in Engineering or related technical degree may be credited for up to 4 years of experience or equivalent work experience.
Minimum experience required of the position:
6 years commercial or military nuclear experience.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position:
Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation.

What We Do
Holtec International is a global turnkey supplier of equipment and services for the Nuclear, Solar, Geothermal, and Fossil Power Generation sectors of the energy and petrochemical industry.
