About this Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our Regulatory Change & Inventory Management (RCIM) team within Wells Fargo Compliance. This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining the integrity of our regulatory inventory and supporting the enterprise-wide implementation of regulatory changes.
As a Regulatory Librarian, you'll help ensure our organization remains aligned with evolving laws, rules, regulations, and guidance. Your work will directly support our commitment to operational excellence, regulatory adherence, and risk mitigation.

In This Role, You Will:
  • Review and summarize domestic and international legislation and regulatory updates across all business areas.
  • Research regulatory issuances to identify potential compliance requirements.
  • Prepare high-level summaries and ensure timely stakeholder notification.
  • Maintain and enhance the regulatory inventory, including citation-level updates and clustering.
  • Support the Topical Inventory Build process for U.S. and non-U.S. jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with Legal partners to validate applicability and risk ratings.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy in systems such as SHRP Governance Management and RRCM.
  • Conduct quality reviews and support audit readiness through documentation and control execution.
  • Identify and remediate inventory gaps and inconsistencies through structured review processes.
  • Partner with risk coverage teams, compliance officers, and subject matter experts to validate regulatory changes and inventory updates.
  • Report findings and make recommendations to management and appropriate committees.
  • Participate in the nomination and approval process for new or modified inventory items via the RCG Council.
  • Work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.

Required Qualifications (U.S.):
  • 2+ years of Compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, legal research, or policy analysis
  • Knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes.
  • Ability to research laws and regulations and draft summaries describing how they potentially apply to Wells Fargo businesses.
  • Experience preparing memoranda for attorneys and business leaders.
  • Advanced analytical skills including use of Microsoft excel.
  • Advanced skills using PowerPoint and creating presentations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work while handling multiple matters.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, collaborative environment.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$68,000.00 - $114,000.00
