Your Impact:

As a Senior Manager, you’ll be a trusted advisor, helping the business navigate complex regulatory landscapes and providing effective and independent compliance advice. Your focus will be on initiatives to support bringing Just Enough Bank to life through simple, secure and useful app-led experiences.

You’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders across Perth and Sydney and contribute to high-profile initiatives that directly impact how Bankwest delivers safe, compliant, and customer-focused banking.

In any given week you will:

  • Provide compliance advice regarding regulatory obligations including Corporations Act, ASIC Act, NCCP Act, ePayments Code, Banking Code of Practice and other legislative obligations applicable to Bankwest.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver practical and commercially sound risk outcomes, often as part of strategic change initiatives and customer communication campaigns.

  • Enable improvements in the compliance risk profile through effective delivery of project outcomes and high-quality stakeholder management.
  • Deliver regular reports on progress and any ad hoc analysis as required.

  • Proven experience in compliance, risk, legal and/or regulatory advisory within financial services, with strong knowledge of regulatory obligations and compliance risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
  • A proactive mindset, enterprise-level approach to compliance, and passion for making a difference.
  • Critical thinking skills and sound judgement, with the ability to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities while balancing customer, commercial and regulatory considerations.
