ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Compliance Reporting & Analytics Analyst plays a key role within our Compliance Program. The role requires interaction with functional managers within the Financial Crimes Compliance department to track important KPI and resourcing data, analyzing for potential trends. The individual will compile the data into reports to share with Apex and Compliance leadership. The individual fulfilling this role should be organized, timely, and driven to improve and refine existing processes to provide for the scalability and maturity improvement of the Compliance department.
Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of RSAT/KRI/Functional Dept Reviews for the FC team
  • Process Maps for all of Compliance including identification of bottlenecks and remediate those through funnel submissions or process redesign
  • Build other as needed reporting related material for exams/audits, clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Provide overall reporting and assessment on how vendors are performing by creating a scorecard
  • Partner with the Testing team to develop and implement of QA governance processes and associated reporting metrics


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Able to work with large data sets using a Power BI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to create Power Point slide presentations for senior management based on data analysis


Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL by writing cross database queries
  • Experience Power BI dashboard and reporting creations
  • 1-3 years of Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst experience
