Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Compliance Manager to join the Compliance Oversight team of Wise Assets Europe in Tallinn. This role will be working alongside the Compliance Officer in a small, but highly effective team in second line compliance. As a Compliance Manager you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing systems and processes to support the compliance function and strengthen our regulatory compliance framework. The person taking on this role will be responsible for ensuring the effective mitigation of regulatory compliance risks of Wise Assets Europe.
Your mission:
You will help to uphold the high standards for regulatory compliance of Wise Assets Europe by designing and maintaining effective compliance processes like horizon scanning, incidents management and reporting (including DORA) and several others.
Here’s how you’ll be contributing to the Wise Assets Europe Regulatory Compliance Team:
Assist Wise in problem-solving different challenges within regulatory compliance.
Enhance and maintain the regulatory compliance oversight and control frameworks.
Ensure that regulatory compliance risks are understood and taken into account in the day-to-day operation of the business.
Day-to-day management of regulatory compliance matters: ensuring Wise Assets Europe meets its regulatory reporting requirements in an efficient and timely manner, responding to information requests, proactively communicating product changes and notifiable events to the Finantsinspektsioon.
Support with the preparation of compliance reports to management and the board.
Take ownership of our regulatory compliance documentation, policies, and procedures.
Improve and carry out horizon scanning processes.
Develop systems to track and monitor our compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Work with product teams and train them about regulatory requirements, and support documentation of decision-making and risk assessments within teams.
Representing regulatory compliance oversight both internally and externally to regulators, auditors and partners as required.
This role will give you the opportunity to:

Collaborate with compliance experts from across the globe to build scalable compliance frameworks.
Interact with Wise’s leadership as well as regulators.
About you:
You have a compliance/ legal background or alternatively operational experience in a regulated environment.
You enjoy diving into different complex regulatory topics and are able to make clear assessments and recommendations in relation to those topics.
You excel in designing and maintaining efficient compliance processes that produce actionable outcomes.
You have a good attention to detail and are able to provide accurate information to regulators.
You know your way around regulations relevant in the financial services industry and are able to identify requirements relevant for Wise Assets Europe.
You are able to effectively communicate with different stakeholders to develop high quality compliance processes.
Experience (or interest) in working in a fast-growing environment.
Willing to travel, as Wise offices are located across different countries.
Legally authorized to work in the the EU (Estonia).
Some extra skills that would be great:
Able to speak Estonian.
Previous experience in a financial institution regulated in Estonia.
Previous experience as a consultant in the financial sector in Estonia.
Experience in Investment Regulations / Compliance.

Salary: 3700-5200 EUR gross monthly
