Compliance Manager
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Manager; a role focused on shaping and governing our supplier compliance framework to support Sysco Ireland’s ‘Delivering for You’ supplier charter.
The role requires a candidate who will be:
- A confident and fair compliance leader who can serve as the central point of contact and arbitrator for vendor compliance across the group
- An effective collaborator who works cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams
- A strategic thinker who can define frameworks, build KPIs, and report on performance to executive leadership

Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement a vendor compliance governance framework aligned with Sysco Ireland’s supplier charter ‘Delivering for You.’
- Serve as the compliance arbitrator, ensuring vendors meet agreed standards, terms, and legal obligations.
- Collaborate closely with Merchandising to support annual terms reviews and manage ongoing vendor performance.
- Consult with Legal to monitor and integrate regulatory changes such as Unfair Trading Practices (UTP) into vendor policy.
- Build and maintain compliance KPIs and dashboards to measure supplier performance and framework effectiveness.
- Present regular compliance performance updates to the executive team with insights and recommendations
- Define and implement an escalation process to manage non-compliance and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with vendors to proactively manage product availability and minimise supply disruptions, ensuring alignment with Sysco Ireland’s service level targets and customer commitments.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for supplier engagement and compliance transparency.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Merchandising, and Supply Chain to embed compliance into business practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in supplier/vendor management, procurement compliance, or governance roles
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory environments relevant to foodservice or FMCG, including UTP regulations.
- Proven experience designing compliance frameworks, performance metrics, and escalation protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across departments and influence key stakeholders.
- High-level of integrity, with strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Proficiency in compliance and reporting systems/tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ERP systems)
