Compliance Engineer

SUMMARY:

You will be a key part of the compliance team and work directly with our engineers, engineering consultants, internal and external test lab teams around the world. You will have a central role in ensuring all development and sourcing projects meet the test requirement. We are continually evolving and improving our compliance system, so your position will need to adapt from time to time to support our process improvements. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Work with engineers, consultants and test lab to review the development and sourcing project meet SBC minimum requirements.
a.    Review the test report and make sure all tests meet minimum test requirements.
b.    Write an email to notify the lab and DE to clarify the issues that are caught.
c.    Coordinate with lab and DE to ensure test report issues to be fixed.
d.    Review test results to ensure comprehensive testing and approval of all aspects.
2.    Manage component testing and submitting the test to interior test lab.
a.    Collaborate with engineer clarify the test quantity and create the test ticket in system.
b.    Communicate with lab and submit the test, update the result to engineer.
c.    Create test reports and move the report to an appropriate life cycle.
d.    Cut the sample and do the basic analysis when the test fails. Collaborate with supplier to improve the sample and submit for next round test.
e.    Compare the BOM and production order place to factory, catch the component change and without testing.
3.    Create the test report and move the document to an appropriate life cycle.
4.    Compare the BOM and PO and find the differences, notify PM need to submit the missing samples.
5.    Manage the report on bike product model.
a.    Complete test records for each model, referencing in-house and 3rd party testing.
b.    Upload the test report to TOC of each product model every month.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

1.    Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences with 1-2 years’ experience.
2.    Understanding development life cycle and test a plus.
3.    Excellent communication skills with an interest in working with teams around the World.
4.    Communication in English, Mandarin Chinese verbal and English written is required.
5.    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & complete tasks within product creation timelines.
6.    Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel. With an ability to learn STARLIMS & AGILE software.

IF YOU HAVE THIS KNOWLEDGE, IT WILL BE GREAT:

1.    Familiar with internal test standard ISO 4210.
2.    Experience collaborates with lab to arrange the testing, priority and schedule the test. 
3.    Ability to troubleshooting the failure samples, clarify the test parameter and identify the failure mode.
