Responsible for completing activities that organize the department's ability to conduct auditing and monitoring along with other compliance related activities.
- Gathers, audits, and monitors documentation and data from compliance and/or operational reports.
- Assists with analyzing and reporting privacy incidents.
- Conducts compliance related verification activities to ensure that corrective actions were completed.
- Conducts administrative tasks for the department such as recording auditing activities in database(s) and prepares draft reports based on documents provided by the Compliance team.
- Manages the verification of service activity (FWA activity).
- Collects and reports data for compliance reports.
- Logs and reports external communications.
- Assists with managing Authorization to Use or Disclose (AUD) process.
- Responds to clinical records requests.
- Manages policies and procedures as directed by the Compliance Officer.
- Prepares data reports for the compliance committee.
- Organizes volume of work and workflows for the Compliance department to enable performance standards and proper procedures are met in accordance to client requirements and state and federal regulations.
