The Compliance Contracts Specialist is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and maintaining the organization’s non payer contract processes and compliance documentation. This role provides operational support, contract administration expertise, and day to day coordination across compliance and legal functions, with a primary focus on contract lifecycle management, documentation accuracy, and adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements. They also support broader compliance program activities, including auditing, monitoring, training coordination, policy management, and risk related documentation. This role partners closely with cross functional teams to ensure contract related activities align with compliance expectations and organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, oversight, and continuous improvement of the company’s contract compliance processes, including documentation, workflows, templates, and internal controls.
- Coordinate contract intake, review routing, execution, and repository management to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist with privacy related contract components (e.g., BAAs, data protection terms) by gathering documentation, routing for review, and ensuring proper filing.
- Maintain and update compliance tools, templates, checklists, and contract documentation to support a productive and effective program and consistent application of controls.
- Partner with cross functional teams, including IT, Reimbursement, Marketing, Sales, Commercial Operations, Digital, Payer/Market Access, Regulatory, and Quality, to ensure contract activities align with legal, regulatory, and corporate policy requirements.
- Monitor and track legal, regulatory, contractual, and compliance obligations related to Company contracts and documentation retention, and assist with implementing required updates.
- Support compliance program operations, including auditing, monitoring, training logistics, policy updates, and risk assessment documentation.
- Promote a positive, ethical, and inclusive compliance culture by providing responsive, service oriented support to internal stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in contract administration, compliance, legal operations, or a related field (healthcare environment preferred).
- Experience with contract management, including related systems, software, or document repositories.
- Working knowledge of contract terms and legal terminology
- Highly effective communicator with strong cross functional partnership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and balance competing needs in a fast paced environment.
Preferred:
- Compliance or contract related certifications (e.g., CCEP, CHC, contract management certifications) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience working in a multi state healthcare, medical device, or regulated industry environment.
- Prior experience supporting cross functional teams or compliance related workflows
- Strong understanding of contract administration principles, document control, and compliance workflows.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance concepts, including confidentiality/PHI, HIPAA, data protection, and general regulatory frameworks.
- Working knowledge of:
- HIPAA/HITECH
- Consumer and data privacy laws, regulations, and general concepts
- Confidentiality standards and implications
- Supplier agreements and TAA compliance
- Ability to support the development and maintenance of policies, processes, and internal controls.
- Skilled at navigating ambiguity and applying sound judgment within established guidelines.

Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
