The Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance Complaints Officer to join our Compliance team. As a Compliance Complaints Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company's compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will be responsible for investigating complaints, identifying compliance issues, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a culture of compliance and integrity within our organization.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Record, track, and maintain complaints accurately in the complaints register
- Prepare clear, fair, and professional replies to customers and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely submissions
- Oversee the progress of complaints and follow up to secure prompt resolutions
- Carry out internal investigations by liaising with relevant departments to collect and assess information
- Contribute to the preparation of periodic complaint reports, identifying trends, risks, and root causes for management insights
- Provide support in addressing compliance and regulatory-related inquiries from other departments
- Maintain accurate records of complaints, investigations, and corrective actions taken
- Assist senior team members with recurring and ad-hoc regulatory reporting requirements
- Keep up to date with applicable regulations, legislation, and industry standards on complaints management and compliance
- Support the Compliance team in various monitoring activities, developing a stronger understanding of regulatory frameworks
Main requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in managing complaints will be considered an advantage
- CySEC Advanced certification will be considered an advantage
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
