We are looking for a Compliance Associate to join Hayfin’s Central Compliance team. This is a broad exposure role supporting the day-to-day delivery and continued evolution of our compliance framework across the business.
You will work across advisory, monitoring and regulatory matters, partnering with teams firmwide and contributing to a strong, forward-looking compliance culture.
Responsibilities
You will play a key part in the smooth running of our Compliance function, including:
- Supporting Code of Ethics oversight, certifications and compliance systems
- Acting as a first point of contact for employee compliance queries
- Assisting with regulatory reporting and management information
- Contributing to monitoring reviews, thematic work and control testing
- Supporting policy updates, regulatory change projects and wider compliance initiatives
- Delivering compliance onboarding and supporting ongoing training
Requirements
- Ideally 4-5 years’ compliance experience within an alternative investment manager or private markets / private credit firm
- Strong knowledge of the UK regulatory framework for asset management businesses
- Experience across areas such as monitoring, Code of Ethics, SM&CR or regulatory change is advantageous
- Clear communicator with sound judgement and strong attention to detail
- Organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, proactive and keen to broaden your exposure across the Compliance function
