Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Data Analytics Manager to lead analytics for the Compliance Monitoring & Testing branch of the Compliance & Internal Audit Analytics team at Wise.
You’ll partner with Compliance to develop and implement the analytics strategy across the function. You’ll lead a team of 3 analysts, so your time will be split between hands-on work (40%) and leadership responsibilities (60%).
Compliance Monitoring and Testing (CMT) is an integral part of Wise’s compliance framework and helps us to create products and services in line with the Wise mission. CMT supports the accurate understanding and risk-based mitigation of Compliance risk at Wise.
The Compliance Analytics team supports Compliance by using analytics to provide more coverage, efficiency and accuracy to testing and monitoring, as well as building innovative tools and using automation to support continuous testing and other Compliance activities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Partnering with stakeholders across the Compliance function covering all regions, products and domains of the business (including Financial Crime, Ops, Risk, Finance and IT)
- Identifying & implementing opportunities to do the most impactful analytics within testing projects and influencing and upskilling your partners in Compliance to do the same
- Defining and tracking KPIs to measure the team’s success and impact
- Championing innovation and data-driven insights, not just within CMT engagements but across all Compliance activities where analytics can add value
- Leading automation and tooling projects to increase efficiency across Compliance
- Supporting with regulatory reporting where required
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics
- 2+ years of experience building, coaching and leading analysts
- Advanced stakeholder management skills; you know how to leverage multiple different teams to deliver high-impact change
- Extensive experience using SQL; you can build and maintain complex data sources and can leverage visualisation tools (Looker, Superset, etc) to surface insights
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
- Experience in Compliance analytics testing or Internal Audit analytics
- Experience using dbt
- Knowledge of Python
