Morningstar is seeking a Compliance Analyst based in Bucharest to join the Global Compliance Department, reporting to the Compliance Officer, Policies & Procedures and Training (PP&T), Global Controls Compliance Department who is based in London.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The candidate will support the Policies & Procedures and Training (PP&T) team in general functions and other PP&T priorities and initiatives as appropriate.
Responsabilities:
- Support the execution of the enhanced policy governance process and data validation.
- Assist with the Legal and Compliance training management and reporting.
- Work with other Morningstar Legal and Compliance colleagues to carry out the PP&T OKRs.
- Manage relationships with colleagues when executing the work of the PP&T team.
- Support awareness campaigns for employees as part of the overall effort to foster a firm-wide culture of compliance.
- Assist the Head of Policies & Procedures and Training, Global Controls Compliance in other work streams or projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience with corporate policies, procedures, and/or a training program a plus.
- Graduate degree in related discipline (law, finance, business).
- Meticulousness and attentiveness to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English, other languages are considered a powerful plus.
- Ability to work both independently and in an international team.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Innovation and independence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Efficiency, organization and team spirit.
