The DSE Compliance Analyst coordinates the technical remediation of security findings, vulnerabilities, and compliance deliverables within the DSE portfolio. This role is responsible for the prioritization of findings, vulnerabilities, communication of the latest guidelines, knowledge of compliance subject matter and influencing the timely delivery and scheduling of appropriate resolutions across DSE. Additionally, they are responsible for the report-out of security findings and risk status to leadership.
What You’ll Do
Manage day-to-day findings and vulnerability management by working closely with the appropriate teams to ensure a solid understanding and timely resolution.
Project Management of Security & Compliance initiatives. Build, communicate, maintain, and drive project plans to aid in the remediation of findings, or projects that support DSE Security & Compliance.
Serve as a coordinator and partner to app owners, Solutions Engineers, leadership, contractors, and any necessary stakeholders within the project space. Keep project plans updated, communicate plans proactively, and follow through on plans until completion.
Develop strong relationships across DSE, DXT, and Global Information Security (GIS) and leverage those relationships to execute against Security & Compliance guidelines, negotiating priorities while driving through resolution.
Support DSE leadership in executing against Security & Compliance project initiatives such as NIST framework adherence and PCI/SOX Audits.
Acts as primary liaison between Disney Security & Compliance teams and the DSE organization, providing subject matter expertise as applicable.
Effectively communicate with key stakeholders of various levels across Technology and broader the Disney organization through various mediums (ie. presentations, email, informal/formal meetings).
Daily exposure to executives for report-outs and the latest security & compliance guidelines/trends.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 3+ years of related experience
Expertise in cybersecurity, application development, and technology platform operations.
Skilled in coordination, project management, and translating technical concepts into simple requirements.
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer CISSP certification, or similar
Successful completion of Cybersecurity program
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Technology related field, and/or equivalent work experience
