The opportunity: Compliance AnalystAs a Compliance Analyst at Tilt, you’ll be integral to ensuring our products, processes, and customer interactions meet the highest regulatory and compliance standards. This role involves collaborating across teams and contributing to key compliance functions, including UDAAP program management, complaints management, marketing reviews, audit requests, and more. Your attention to detail, proactive approach, and analytical mind will help Tilt build trust with our customers and partners while fostering an innovative culture of compliance.
Tilt is a remote-first company. We drive connectivity through regular company offsites. Travel for company offsites is expected at a minimum 2 times per year.
How you'll make an impactComplaints Management:
Dig into complaints to uncover patterns and systemic issues, transforming customer pain points into actionable insights that shape Tilt’s products and services
Deliver trend analysis and clear, impactful recommendations to both frontline teams and Tilt’s leadership, driving continuous improvement across the company
Craft thoughtful and accurate responses to regulatory complaints that reflect our commitment to transparency and trust
Support UDAAP Program Management:
Help maintain the UDAAP risk inventory, mapping Tilt's products and customer touchpoints to potential consumer-harm exposures and keeping risk ratings and ownership current as products evolve
Review customer support and operational processes and test AI chatbot workflows for areas presenting UDAAP risk
Conduct state-by-state regulatory research, beginning with EWA and disclosure laws, and maintain a periodic review cadence so Tilt stays ahead of a fast-moving state landscape
Provide occasional support to compliance testing and monitoring efforts, contributing subject-matter expertise on specific products or regulations as needed
Process Improvement via AI & Automation:
Identify and implement process improvements across your compliance functions to reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and dive deep into analysis
Continuously assess and optimize compliance operations by applying automation, AI, and emerging technologies to strengthen risk management, drive efficiency, and support the company’s innovation-focused strategy
2+ years of compliance or related experience in financial services or fintech
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships across teams
Self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Bonus: Data analysis, complaints handling, experience in preparing legal/compliance correspondence, knowledge of financial compliance marketing regulations
