Compliance Analyst (Residing / Located in Malta / Hold an EU Passport)
Overview:
To assist the Compliance Manager to ensure Compliance with all Applicable Regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the Bank's Compliance Obligations to the Various Laws, Rules and Regulations, including Banking
- Support in the Maintenance, Improvement and Introduction of Controls to Mitigate Compliance Risks.
- Support Compliance Monitoring and Testing and Analysis of the results identifying any Deficiencies.
- Escalate appropriate concerns to the Compliance Manager.
- Assisting in the Implementation of New Tests and/or Reviews.
- Support the Bank in maintaining a sound Compliance Framework, including an up-to-date Compliance Register.
- Work to achieve increased Compliance Awareness and maintain a strong Compliance Culture across the Organisation.
- Assist generally the Compliance Manager, including with ad-hoc projects or tasks as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Banking and/or Finance and/or Law related Qualification from a Reputable European University or Equivalent.
- Minimum 2 Years’ Experience in a Similar Role.
- Good Knowledge of Maltese and European Banking Legislation including Banking Rules.
- Strong Organizational Abilities.
- Ability to Work under Pressure.
- Being Meticulous and Attentive to Detail.
- Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills (English).
- Proficiency in using MS Office Applications – especially MS Excel.

Skills Required
