The Role

The Complex Program Manager is responsible for leading and delivering large-scale, high-impact programs characterized by significant complexity, ambiguity, and cross-functional dependencies. The role ensures alignment of program outcomes with strategic business objectives while managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

This position requires the ability to translate strategic vision into a portfolio of interconnected projects and drive successful execution through strong governance, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.

Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex transformation programs with multiple interdependent workstreams

  • Translate strategic objectives into structured program roadmaps with clear milestones and deliverables

  • Ensure alignment between program scope, contractual commitments, and business outcomes

Governance & Risk Management

  • Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks aligned with organizational standards

  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies

  • Drive decision-making through governance forums and executive-level reporting

Stakeholder & Executive Management

  • Act as the primary interface for senior stakeholders, sponsors, and clients

  • Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment across teams

  • Provide clear, concise executive updates, insights, and recommendations

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Own program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and margin management

  • Ensure contractual and commercial compliance (SLAs, financial targets)

  • Drive value realization and benefits tracking across the program lifecycle

Planning & Execution Oversight

  • Ensure integrated planning across all program workstreams

  • Monitor performance using KPIs, milestones, and success metrics

  • Implement corrective actions to address deviations in scope, schedule, cost, or quality

People Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop project managers and cross-functional delivery teams

  • Build high-performing teams aligned with program objectives

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Change & Transformation Management

  • Assess organizational readiness and manage resistance to change

  • Define and execute change management strategies

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in program/project management, with proven delivery of complex transformation programs

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, cross-functional, and multi-vendor environments

  • Strong leadership skills across complex, multi-stream programs

  • Advanced stakeholder management and executive communication capabilities

  • Solid expertise in governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks

  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and margin management

  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and decision-making skills

  • High resilience, adaptability, and ability to operate in ambiguous environments

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience delivering large-scale technology programs (Cloud, Digital Transformation, Data/AI, Enterprise Platforms)

  • Proven track record working in global or highly matrixed organizations

  • Experience driving organizational change and transformation initiatives

  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing contractual obligations

  • Certifications: PMP / PgMP; PRINCE2 Practitioner; Other relevant program or portfolio management certifications
