The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling sophisticated commercial disputes. A background at a top law firm with a nationally recognized litigation practice is strongly preferred. Prior judicial clerkship experience is also preferred, particularly in federal district or appellate courts. The role requires exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills, along with demonstrated experience drafting dispositive motions, discovery motions, briefs, and other substantive filings. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding academic credentials, sound judgment, strong project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in leanly staffed, fast-paced litigation teams while managing significant responsibility and client contact.
Candidates must have experience in the following:
Handling matters involving breach of contract, bankruptcy, business torts, fiduciary duty claims, securities, regulatory investigations, or other high-stakes business litigation in state and federal courts
Managing all phases of complex litigation, including factual development, motion practice, written discovery, depositions, expert discovery, and trial preparation.
Coordinating large-scale document discovery and working with eDiscovery issues

The expected pay range for this position is:
$310,000 to $420,000
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
