- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for compensation, bonus, commission, and benefits.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules for compensation-related balances.
- Partner with Payroll and HR to validate employee compensation data, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support internal and external audit requests by organizing documentation and explaining accounting support for key balances and processes.
- Contribute to process improvements, internal controls, and documentation for compensation accounting workflows.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and third-party administrators to ensure accurate data flow and reporting.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects to support the broader controllership and finance organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of accounting, compensation accounting, payroll accounting, or financial reporting experience.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and close processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with Workday, equity and compensation administration systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
