Job Description:
We’re looking for a Compensation Coordinator (12-Month Contract) to support the accurate and timely administration of compensation processes across TJX Canada. In this role you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting job change requests, preparing offer letters, and administering compensation cycles. What You’ll Do:
Own and manage email and ServiceNow requests, ensuring completeness of documentation.
Prepare job change packets, job descriptions, justifications, and pre-populate salary recommendation templates as per Compensation guidelines.
Draft offer letters using standardized templates, routing for review/approval, and distributing final versions to stakeholders.
Update job profiles and submit job code requests to HR Information Systems (HRIS), monitoring status and ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLA) adherence.
Maintain centralized trackers for compensation activities, ensuring data integrity and audit trail.
Support with the creation and maintenance of compensation cycle files (e.g., salary, bonus, stock), performing basic data validations; maintaining readiness checklists, assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts under Manager direction.
Prepare and format SOP’s, intake forms, leader guides, FAQs, and communication packages for distribution to the business and Human Resources partners.
Servs as first-line contact for routine compensation inquiries (ranges, process steps, status updates) and routes complex/exception cases to the appropriate Compensation Manager.
Identify workflow gaps and propose improvements; standardizes templates; supports with low-code automation opportunities under Manager guidance.
About You:
A post-secondary education in Human Resources (HR), Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is an asset; in-progress designations will be considered.
A minimum of two (2) years of related HR experience; experience administering to total rewards or compensation programs is considered an asset.
Robust experience working in variety of software systems; experience with HRIS (i.e. Workday) and case management (i.e. ServiceNow) programs.
Intermediate-level proficiency analyzing, managing and optimizing large data sets in Microsoft Excel (including proficiency with V/X/H Lookups, Pivot Tables); proficiency in other Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Lists, Power Bi (or Tableau).
Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and customer service skills; able to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work with confidentiality and discretion.
