We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Compensation Partner with deep expertise in executive, equity, and sales compensation to join our Total Rewards team. This role will be a key advisor to senior leadership and HR business partners, ensuring our compensation programs attract, retain, and motivate top talent while aligning with company goals and regulatory compliance.
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about the in-office requirements.
What you’ll achieve:
Executive Compensation- Partner with senior people, legal and finance leaders to design and manage executive compensation programs.
- Support Compensation Committee materials and ensure accurate preparation of executive pay disclosures (e.g., proxy/CD&A).
- Benchmark executive pay practices and provide market data and insights to support talent decisions.
- Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams to administer and manage the company’s equity compensation programs, including grants, vesting, and compliance.
- Advise on equity design strategies and refresh cycles.
- Manage stock budget and forecasting analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of grants and equity transactions in partnership with stock administration.
- Partner with Sales Operations and business leadership to design and refine sales incentive plans that align with business goals and drive performance.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of sales plan eligibility and pay mix calibration based on data insights and industry best practices.
- Provide compensation consulting support to People Partners and Talent Acquisition, including offer recommendations, promotion assessments, and retention planning.
- Conduct market pricing, pay equity analysis, and compensation benchmarking using tools such as Radford and Compa.
- Ensure alignment of compensation programs with internal job architecture and leveling frameworks.
About you
- 8+ years of progressive global compensation experience.
- Excited to innovate and evolve the compensation function in the age of AI.
- Demonstrated ability to consult and influence senior business leaders using compensation data and business context.
- Experience conducting market analysis, job matching, market pricing, and forecasting.
- Deep analytical and quantitative skills with a track record of developing and delivering clear compensation insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Experience managing large complex, cross-functional compensation projects or processes.
- Public company experience with executive compensation and equity plan design.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $207,000 - $243,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
