The Role

NN started its operations in Hungary in 1991 under the name Nationale-Nederlanden. In just 6 years, we became market leaders and continue to be a key player in the Hungarian life insurance market. NN Insurance Hungary is looking for a talented professional to join NN Hungary’s team as a Compensation and benefits specialist. In this position you will contribute to maintaining and developing the local compensation and benefits strategy in line with global and local policies and legislation.

Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate the company-wide salary increase and bonus payment processes in accordance with local compensation policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the development and automation of the compensation processes.
  • Organize, facilitate, and coordinate job evaluation meetings, and maintain the job structure database.
  • Collection of market salary data, active participation in market analysis and salary surveys, and data provision.
  • Carry out administrative and super‑user responsibilities to support the operation and maintenance of the integrated HR system (Workday)
  • Actively contribute to the implementation of the new modules of the integrated HR system, and work closely with group‑level system owners.
  • Fulfill the HR ServiceNow Ticketing system administrator role, including the design of ServiceNow processes, preparation of policies, and creation of dashboards.
  • Run and prepare the necessary monthly, quarterly, annual reports and statistics for Management, Finance department, or any other business area related to compensation, budget reports and audit reports.;
  • Support and monitor the company FTE and salary budget; 
  • Manages supplier contracts, monitors costs associated with supplier agreements, opens purchase orders (POs), and handles supplier invoices.
  • Participate in the process of short-term, long-term, and virtual assignment programs in alignment with the corporate policies.
  • Responsible for ensuring the internal control points of the organizational unit’s processes, identifying potential risks, and developing appropriate risk‑mitigation measures.

What matters to us: 

  • University or College degree (in relevant fields, like Economics, HR etc);
  • 1,5-2 years relevant experience on HR Administration/Compensation
  • Fluent in English;
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative skills;
  • Strong Excel knowledge;
  • User level Microsoft Office knowledge;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with all levels within the organization.

Advantages:

  • Experience with HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow);
  • Hungarian Labour Code and tax rules knowledge;
  • Excel, Power Point knowledge
  • Power BI is a plus
