Purpose:
The Compensation Analyst will conduct analysis and interpretation of Floor and Decor’s compensation programs by conducting market analysis of company jobs to determine competitive positioning of the organization’s pay programs. The analyst will participate in annual salary administration programs to include salary structure creation and maintenance and development of incentive and/or salary increase budgets. This role will also be responsible for calculating and administrating the monthly, quarterly and annual incentive and/or salary increase programs while providing support in administering equity programs as well as other ancillary programs (i.e. relocation).
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field, required
- CCP or similar certification preferred
- 2-4 years of work experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a job with related skill requirements
- Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint and HRIS systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Agility to work as an integral part of a team
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient with compensation research and data analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of local, state and federal laws (i.e. FLSA, DOL)
Essential Job Functions:
- Analyze and interpret the company’s remuneration programs to determine how to better grow and manage the remuneration policies and programs
- Analyze positions to ascertain the scope of employee responsibilities and requirements
- Review a wide range of relevant compensation data to ensure the company’s remuneration policies are competitive with the external market
- Provide company data to compensation surveys
- Analyze results of compensation surveys
- Predict future trends to steer the company in a positive direction
- Manage salary structure creation and maintenance
- Ensure company compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Handle moderately complex issues and problems and escalates more complex issues as needed
- Performs work under general supervision

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
