ROLE OVERVIEW
Plays an integral role in the administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Performs compensation functions, in support of the compensation philosophy and structure, providing complex analyses and compensation-related recommendations for our internal customers of leaders and human resource partners. A successful Compensation Analyst will be detailed-oriented, have a collaborative communications style and strong analytical aptitude.
COMPENSATION
$62,000 to $75,000 plus 5% MIP.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct experience analyses and recommend new hire, promotion, transfer, and market adjusted rates based on the organization’s crediting guidelines and compensation strategy.

Review, approve and/or investigate Workday compensation-related actions to ensure accuracy and alignment with compensation strategy.

Conduct complex modeling analyses and studies to support developing and administering effective compensation and benefits programs in accordance with the LFST total reward strategy and to ensure compliance with regulations.

Collect market data for positions, recommending benchmark matches and scope or level adjustments. Recommend internal parity salary grade for new roles and as part of regular market reviews. of roles matching the job functions.

Evaluate jobs for career architecture leveling, market rates and Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) classification.

Research and keep abreast of compensation related regulations and compensation/total rewards trends.

Draft and edit job descriptions, policies, and communications, including collaborating with key stakeholders.

Assists in administering LifeStance’s performance-based programs (merit, short-term and long-term incentives), including collaborating with and guiding leaders to foster the compensation strategy and reduce bias risks.

Identify and escalate concerns about variations from the organization’s compensation policies, strategy or federal or state compensation related regulations.

Participate in salary surveys.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-
Bachelor’s degree.
-
In lieu of the degree, an additional 5 years of highly related experience or a combination of an associate’s degree and 3 years of highly relevant experience.

At least one year as a compensation analyst or at least 3+ years of experience in a human resources, finance, payroll, or other similarly analytical role.
-
Excellent data analysis and systematic problem-solving skills.
-
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong business writing and editing skills and a collaborative communication approach.

Prior experience in health care preferred.

Experience working with Workday preferred.
