Job Description - The Global Compensation Analyst will conduct research, analyze data and provide recommendations to ensure that the organization's compensation programs are competitive and are aligned with the company's objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of compensation laws and regulations. The teammate in this role will work closely with HR business partners to ensure that the organization's compensation programs are effective and efficient.
Core Responsibilities-

Conducts market analysis and research to support compensation recommendations. This is done through analysis of both external market data and internal compensation data while leveraging internal tools such as Workday and MarketPay.

Supports the research and review of existing compensation programs and policies to ensure internal and external equity, improve administrative efficiency and ensure legal compliance.

Administers global compensation surveys, including ensuring that survey participation deadlines are met. Will take an active role in market-pricing internal jobs to survey jobs and auditing job matches to ensure consistency globally.

Conducts job analysis and provides recommendations on job levels to uphold the integrity of the global job architecture and equity across the organization.

Supports aligned HR and operational business partners with respect to compensation needs. This may include understanding organizational needs, performing analysis and providing guidance on job leveling, pay ranges, compensation proposals, etc.

Provides support to the annual merit and bonus process. This may include data integrity validations, preparing communication materials, providing support and responding to HRBP questions.

Supports the global mobility function which includes coordinating and providing guidance to the candidates and managers through the process based on the established guidelines and procedures and coordinating with external vendors to ensure a smooth and compliant immigration and relocation process.

Performs basic to intermediate-level analysis to ensure statutory compliance with minimum pay amounts specified by the FLSA, state and local government jurisdictions.

Conducts regular audits of data affecting compensation such as job levels, merit and bonus plans in Workday to ensure accuracy of compensation data.
Qualifying Experience-
-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required
-
Three or more years of experience as a Compensation, Human Resources or Finance Analyst (or related field)

CCP designation or GRP certification preferred

Excellent analytical skills and highly proficient in Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting

Familiarity with different types of job evaluation, ideally with previous experience administering and maintaining a global job architecture

Ideally with experience supporting compensation globally and understanding of local practices internationally

Previous experience with any compensation management tool such as MarketPay or CompAnalyst. Familiarity with the tool’s functionalities using the market-pricing, survey participation and survey library modules.

Ideally with previous experience supporting global mobility and understanding of immigration laws and relocation process.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational and time management skills
