Reporting to the Compensation Operations Manager, the Compensation Analyst will play an essential role in supporting day-to-day compensation needs for Leidos. The selected individual will collaborate with other Compensation professionals on a frequent basis and will be responsible for day-to-day operational support of multiple Sectors within the Leidos business.
The Compensation Analyst will support and aid the Leidos Compensation team and may be tasked with assisting the Compensation team with other day-to-day tasks as appropriate in order to achieve organizational and Human Resources (HR) objectives.
This role is highly collaborative and will require extensive communication with multiple members of the Compensation team and broader HR community.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sector Compensation Partners to provide guidance to managers and the human resources community on compensation philosophy, policies, and systems.
- Provide cross-organizational compensation support to the business, ensuring each Sector’s unique needs and objectives are being met.
- Evaluate and approve promotions, job changes and salary adjustments using sound compensation fundamentals and internal review framework.
- Evaluate and approve bonus and incentive payments for compliance, reasonableness, and appropriateness.
- Evaluate job positions to determine FLSA classification (exempt and nonexempt) and provide salary recommendations.
- Assist and participate in salary surveys and analyze data from survey sources.
- Support and aid in enterprise spanning projects and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
- 4+ years of experience in Compensation or a related field.
- Thorough knowledge of compensation philosophies and practices.
- Thorough knowledge of FLSA compliance, rules and application.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret and summarize key areas.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Workday preferred.
- Adapts and works effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, or groups.
- Industry experience is a plus.

Pay Range:Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
