Location: Trenton, MO

Shift: Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide community-based mental health services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention implementation

  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Utilize a strengths-based approach that incorporates evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Positive Reinforcement Techniques, Trauma-Informed Strategies, CBT, and DBT

  • Provide behavioral interventions using methods including cognitive processing, operant conditioning, and group dynamics

  • Coordinate care with external providers including physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and community organizations

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and client progress

  • Facilitate PSR (Psychosocial Rehabilitation) group sessions as aligned with treatment plan goals

  • Participate in ongoing staff development and training opportunities

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives through data collection and reporting

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with families, schools, and community supports

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related human services field; or

  • Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and two years of qualifying experience*; or

  • Any four-year combination of higher education and related experience; or

  • Associate’s degree in Behavioral Health Support; or

  • Four years of qualifying experience*

*Qualifying experience includes working with individuals with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities. Experience should include services such as skill-building, group or one-on-one support, recovery-focused coaching, or assistance in community functioning and employment.

Employment Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to navigate and coordinate community-based resources

  • Proficient in maintaining accurate and timely documentation

Skills Required
