The Community Support Liaison (CSL) serves as a liaison between the Crisis Response Center (CRC) and Outpatient Treatment Teams to facilitate communication, coordination, continuity of care, and discharge planning. The CSL completes urgent enrollments for COPE while patients are hospitalized, ensuring timely connection to appropriate services and supports. The CSL provides flexible coverage across COPE Residential sites as part of the CSL Team, offering assistance and support based on program and patient needs.
QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to obtain and maintain throughout employment a Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Plus one of the following:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, no experience necessary.
- Associate’s degree plus one (1) year behavioral health work experience.
- High School Diploma or GED plus Peer Support Specialist certification plus two (2) years of behavioral health work experience.
- High School Diploma or GED plus Medical Assistant certification plus two (2) years of behavioral health work experience.
- High School Diploma or GED plus three (3) years of behavioral health work experience.

Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record. An unacceptable driving record includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- more than two [2] moving violations in the last three [3] years or;
- more than one [1] at-fault accident within the last three [3] years or;
- any major violation (i.e. DUI, Careless/Reckless Driving, Drag Racing, Hit and Run) within the last three [3] years.
Other driving related violations may be considered unacceptable. At time of job offer, submission of 36 month (three year) driving record from DMV will be required. These standards must be maintained throughout employment and up-to-date driving records are reviewed regularly for current employees.
