What’s on offer?
We are looking to build on our existing team with a proactive and people-focused Community & Stakeholder Senior Advisor to work on key water infrastructure projects for Fulton Hogan Utilities. This is a great opportunity to help lead meaningful engagement across a diverse range of projects. Working closely with the Communications Manager, project teams, contractors, councils, and community representatives, you’ll help ensure engagement is well planned, responsive, and aligned with program priorities.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
Lead stakeholder and community engagement across water and wastewater projects
Develop engagement strategies and provide advice on risks, issues, and opportunities
Build strong relationships with community groups, landowners, customers, councils, delivery partners, and regulators
Plan and deliver engagement activities including meetings, workshops, briefings, consultations, and targeted communications
Prepare high-quality engagement materials, reports, presentations, and correspondence
Monitor stakeholder sentiment and support responsive communication and decision-making
Contribute to improved engagement, communication, and reporting practices across the program.
How you'll connect to the role:
Experience in stakeholder and community engagement, ideally in water, infrastructure, utilities, construction, local government, or a similar environment
Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with senior leaders, project teams, and external stakeholders
Sound understanding of engagement planning, consultation, issues management and reputation risk
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
Confidence managing sensitive or complex issues with sound judgement and professionalism
Strong organisational, digital, and reporting capability, with a collaborative working style
Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable, along with a commitment to Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely 2.0 culture.

Skills Required
