Location: North Vancouver, B.C.


Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:


As the Community Seeding Coordinator, you will support the global Community team, and regional and local store teams in the coordination of a local and global seeding strategy and process. This will result in increased brand awareness and retailer engagement locally for our outdoor and statement product collections. 

 

Working closely with the Community Marketing Managers, Global Community and Experiences and Commercial Market Leaders, this role will be responsible for regional and product seeding orders to support a newly developed product seeding playbook. It will also support with managing the global seeding calendar. The HQ Community team is a team that functions as a Global center for excellence for events and experiences and works extremely cross functionally.

 

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

 

 

Meet Your Future Team:


The Community and Experiences Brand Team leads a strategy and process that supports our regions in creating long-term commitments to the community via local partners, ambassadors, athletes, and organizations that surround our stores and places of practice. The team also supports key drivers to increase brand affinity, loyalty, retail sales, traffic, and revenue.

If you were the Community Seeding Coordinator now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Managing seeding strategy for the NA Community and Experiences team, working effectively with all cross-functional partners to ensure seamless execution, alignment with brand objectives, and optimization of resources to drive engagement and brand visibility across key markets
  • Processing and supporting our product seeding orders (seeding is one of our most important marketing levers)
  • Developing annual seasonal seeding calendar in partnership with Brand Managers and Merchants that supports successful seeding efforts in local regions in North America and Europe
  • Proactively communicating the availability of the seeding products to the local retail teams
  • Leading forecasted seeding orders for future seasons and manage the usage of marketing seeding contract orders
  • Acquiring a fundamental understanding and proficiency with retail and brand allocations processes
  • Building regular seeding reporting for the Community and Brand Experience teams to determine efficiency in the seeding strategy and forecasted order process
  • Managing the order book fulfillment process, proactively ensuring order releases are accurate, timely, and delivered according to the expectations of the cross-functional partner (Community and Brand Experience team, CMMs, SMs, Statement Marketing team)
  • Constantly seeking opportunities to improve processes or tactics that support brand and product awareness, increased sales, retail traffic and/or sell-through
  • Reviewing/Auditing Community Seeding Contracts (holding orders) to release product no longer needed to support DTC sales

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Supporting the execution of the new product seeding strategy, traffic drivers and other marketing tactics
  • Working collaboratively with internal cross-functional partners, external vendors and community strategic partners
  • Creating and building SOPs (standard operating procedures) for community seeding to enable efficiency in the planning and execution process 

Are you our next Community Seeding Coordinator?

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or related fields
  • You have 1+ year experience in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • You have experience in event organization or execution
  • You have experience in a retail or other guest facing role
  • You have a base experience with SAP, including understanding in how to navigate its modules, managing data extraction, performing analysis, and optimizing processes to support business operations and drive efficiencies across our department
  • You excel at building relationships and providing an experience that is prompt, proactive, efficient, and courteous
  • You are able to multitask, prioritize and plan your workload
  • You are able to work under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment
  • You have written, presentation, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
  • You are proficient with the Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • You get things done. You are flexible in working weekends on occasion, especially leading up to events and programs.
  • You are a collaborator and connector, creating a respectful environment for your peers and leadership
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
