TraceLink Community Team - Internship
WHAT’S THE TEAM?
TraceLink Community is the people network that powers our digital supply network. TraceLink Community provides our members a dedicated space amongst peers in which to exchange knowledge and experiences with one another, as well as to discuss present and future business requirements that help TraceLink to build and improve solutions.
For the past 10+ years, Community has developed regionally-themed communities (e.g, China, EU, US) and solution-themed communities. In addition to the approximately 150 recurring live online meetings we conduct annually, we’ve now begun to build an online discussion forum platform to deepen and expand engagement with our members. While our mission to nurture a collaborative space around the digital supply chain remains unchanged, we are in the early phases of our online community rollout. In this internship role, you will contribute to shaping and to building an engaging experience for our members for years to come.
WHAT SKILLS SHOULD I HAVE?
Membership in an online community founded on idea exchange in either a business or educational (or similar) context is encouraged (think “Reddit” for business discussions)
Familiarity with how people use a mix of online forums and social media
Ability to communicate with at different levels of formality in online discussion posts
Ability to insert/format text, insert videos, or add documents and links on a web page (basic knowledge of HTML is helpful, but not required)
Ability to work fairly independently on projects that are driven by team priorities
Ability to propose your own ideas and to evaluate their benefits and pitfalls
Ability to perform routine tasks such as sorting slides or categorising content

Learn about operating and running an online community platform
We use the Discourse platform alongside connectors to other platforms such as Zoom, SalesForce, GoogleDocs, and AI.
Work with team members from around the world
Our team members are in the US, Europe, and India
Translate community member and business needs into action
We want to make it attractive, easy, and relevant for members to go from visiting our platform to actively engaging and sharing their knowledge on it
Learn about the Health Sciences industry
The topics and discussions that you will encounter on our forum may sometimes be technical but will always be influenced by the strict regulations that this industry must abide by.
Essential Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Excellent creative abilities.
