The Position:
As an Associate on the Community Impact team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of strategies that positively influence the community of youth sports. You will be responsible for managing programs that align with our organization's values, promote social responsibility, and contribute to community outcomes.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing social impact programs, reviewing grants administration, driving partnership development, engaging in the development of impact measurement and evaluation, conducting research, managing internal and external communications, and cultivating partnerships with nonprofits, key stakeholders, community leaders, and peer organizations in the industry. This role requires excellent communication and project management skills, strong leadership abilities, and a deep appreciation for our product and the communities we serve.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute social impact strategies aligned with GameChanger’s mission to generate meaningful and measurable change in our communities and reinforce our brand as a positively driven company by sourcing best practices from the industry and collaborating cross-functionally throughout the organization.
Help develop and implement initiatives such as our foundational Stay and Play program.
Support the data and measurement systems for GameChanger Social Impact.
Conduct field research and landscape analysis to inform our programs.
Support key cross-functional partnerships internally with Design, PR, DEI, and Marketing teams to execute community impact initiatives.
Contribute to GameChanger's social impact internal communications.
Manage the creation of quarterly newsletters and year-end impact reports.
Support and help lead the GameChanger teammate volunteer program including communications, tracking, and organizing several team-wide days of service annually.
Plan and execute projects and events from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Align activities with teammate satisfaction goals.
Stay up to date with industry trends, research, best practices, and emerging campaigns to continually enhance our social impact work.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years experience in social impact, nonprofits, marketing, events, business, community organizing, or a related field.
Experience in nonprofit/partner management, or nonprofit partnerships preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication, high EQ, and strong interpersonal skills including public speaking, networking, and relationship-building.
Highly creative, agile, and entrepreneurial.
A team player who is capable of interacting cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization.
Outstanding organizational and project management abilities.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and exhibiting a high degree of ownership.
Ability to travel up to 10% .

The target salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.
