As an Assistant Performance Manager, you will be the architect of meaningful connections, designing, managing, and scaling community-driven experiences that foster engagement and belonging. You will blend strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on leadership to build thriving communities while overseeing fitness and wellness programs that deliver impactful, results-driven experiences for members and clients.

Responsibilities: 

  • Organize and execute tasks with precision and timeliness while upholding high-quality standards.

  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, adapting and improving processes to minimize errors as responsibilities expand.

  • Design and implement community-building initiatives across various programs and interest groups.

  • Utilize systems thinking to create scalable experiences and establish measurable key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Plan and execute large-scale events that unite community leaders and members, fostering impactful interactions.

  • Apply critical thinking and subject matter expertise to support field operations teams in delivering exceptional events.

  • Extract actionable insights by asking the right questions and considering stakeholder perspectives in decision-making.

  • Tailor written and verbal communications effectively to engage business partners, clients, and internal teams.

  • Simplify complex concepts and strategies for diverse audiences.

  • Craft and deliver compelling narratives that resonate emotionally and sensorially with various audiences.

  • Identify potential risks proactively, navigating ambiguity to make informed decisions or escalations.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with business, design, and human performance teams, providing actionable recommendations.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or a related field preferred

  • 3+ years of professional experience managing projects, programs, or operations.

  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams.

  • Strong leadership background in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings.

  • Experience in consulting or agency environments.

  • Proficiency in analyzing data to guide programmatic decisions.

  • Expertise in designing global marketing campaigns and community events.

  • Track record of building and managing both physical and digital communities.

  • Familiarity with design thinking methodologies.

  • Exceptional communication skills with a global, diverse audience.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
