Plan, travel with, and serve as an event lead who helps operate and maintain a fully functioning and responsive mobile care operation that includes four mobile clinics, one sprinter van, and multiple lanes of portable equipment that when deployed (together or separately) provide eye care and eyewear to those who otherwise would not have access to care
Identify, capture, and manage all event details related to internal and external business partner needs, doctors, and volunteers and maintain/ track utilizing a shared platform
Collaborate with event partners to set up and operate a successful mobile clinic that includes supporting the doctors as they provide care to the patients, monitoring and maintaining patient flow, and ensuring each volunteer has the knowledge/ skills needed to perform their duties during the clinic
After the event provide a detail event report and any learnings relevant to the successful execution of future events.
Act as an ambassador for all who visit a mobile clinic event including state and federal elected officials and be able to articulate how the mobile clinic operates and the impact and value it provides to the patients receiving care
Serve as a spokesperson when members of the media attend an event and seek comment about the program and the event
Participate in annual media training activities and seek to build and evolve storytelling skills by working one to one with members of the Public Relations team
Assure effective communications are maintained within the team and with business partners, industry partners, and external charitable organizations.
Help identify and support relationships with key charity-care partners external to the company
Maintain reporting of key program outcomes and progress toward annual targets
Provide support for CSR and charity care efforts as needed/ assigned
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 4 years of functional experience
Possesses strong project management, problem solving, leadership and organizational skills
Excellent people skills with ability to foster collaboration and cooperation amongst internal and external business partners
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Adaptable and able to effectively prioritize a workload that can and does evolve quickly
Must be willing and able to travel 50-75% of the time
Must be willing and able to work disaster relief duty
This would entail but not be limited to, long periods away from home, difficult working conditions and long days
Able to work with all levels of employees and management
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in performance of job duties
Demonstrates openness to feedback and a strong willingness to listen and learn from manager and peers and can reflect and adapt as needed

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
