What You’ll Do

 

As the Community Director, you’ll serve as the operational backbone and leadership force for your branch. You’ll manage a talented team, partner with HOA Boards, and oversee the smooth functioning of multiple community operations.  You will:

  • Serve as the primary relationship leader for Boards of Directors and homeowners
  • Lead and mentor branch staff, ensuring high performance, strong service, and continuous development
  • Oversee all operational functions, from administrative workflows to financial processes
  • Review and guide financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and clarity for Board packets
  • Advise on capital projects, community maintenance needs, and vendor performance
  • Drive strategic initiatives, including budget planning, service enhancements, and operational improvements
  • Ensure compliance and risk mitigation, including tracking legal matters and architectural reviews
  • Attend board meetings and community events, representing Associa with professionalism and expertise
  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and performance monitoring
  • Ensure accurate database (C3) and file maintenance
  • Oversee AP processes in alignment with home office procedures
  • Roll up your sleeves as needed - because great leaders know when to dive in
  • Perform other duties that support outstanding community + client experience

Compensation:
$110,000-$115,000/annually; direct experience highly considered.

Preferred Qualifications

What You Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5–7 years of management or supervisory experience
  • 3–7 years of Community Association or portfolio management experience
  • Industry certification preferred (e.g., CMCA®, AMS®, PCAM® or CA‑specific equivalent)
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Expert‑level proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High integrity with proven discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong prioritization and time‑management skills
  • A proactive, self‑driven leadership style

 

 

Skills Required
