Community Development Representative - Merced, CA

Location: Onsite: Merced, CA., with travel up to 80%

Location Status: Work will be primarily performed onsite in our office. Occasional travel to and work from other Race offices or other off-site locations may be required.

Comp: $24-$28 USD per hour

Position Impact:

The Community Development Representative is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders, including local organizations, property owners, and residents. Serves as a liaison to facilitate communication, support project coordination, and ensure alignment with community needs and regulatory requirements. Conducts research and outreach to property owners to support project planning and execution. Secures Right of Entry (ROE) and Right of Access (ROA) agreements from residential and commercial property owners to enable infrastructure deployment.

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service, administrative, or coordination role.
• Proficient geographical knowledge of service areas and ability to interpret maps.
• Ability to travel as needed, with potential travel requirements of up to 50% to meet with Homeowners Associations (HOAs).
• Must hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English as the primary language used in the workplace.
• Familiarity with the telecommunications or IT industry is preferred.
• Experience working with HOAs, property managers, private owners, board members, local organizations, and residents is a plus.
• Bilingual communication skills are considered a plus, particularly when serving diverse communities.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as teleconferencing applications.
• Functional use of common office equipment, computers, and office software.
