This position is in partnership with the Homeless, Addiction, and Recovery Treatment (HART) Hub, a collaborative initiative designed to provide a seamless continuum of care through a culturally responsive and healing-centered model. Tailored to meet the needs of individuals facing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges, the Kenora HART Hub serves as a vital anchor for support within the Kenora geographical area, and surrounding communities. By delivering coordinated, compassionate, and evidence-based services, the HART Hub ensures equitable access to care. This approach integrates holistic and culturally grounded practices, to promote stability, healing, and long-term recovery for members who are most vulnerable within our communities.
 
Within this partnership, KACL’s Community Mental Health Intensive Case Management program advocates for individual choice and encourages people to pursue their interests and engage in activities despite barriers. Community Consultants are strong advocates who bring their voice into our community to assist adults in managing their illnesses. They jointly develop support plans with individuals to work towards their personal goals. You will provide supports focused on building confidence and independence and the discovery of each person’s unique gifts and abilities to be used in the achievement of their identified goals and dreams.

This is an on-site position based in Kenora, Ontario. Nestled on the shores of the stunning Lake of the Woods in Northwestern Ontario, Kenora offers the charm of a close-knit community combined with exceptional outdoor recreation. Located near the Ontario–Manitoba border, Kenora is approximately a two-hour drive east of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Skills Required
