About the opportunity

We’re seeking a passionate and community-focused Coordinator to lead Suicide Prevention Community Collaboratives in Griffith and Wagga Wagga.

In this role, you’ll bring together local members, organisations, and stakeholders to build resilience, strengthen connections, and support suicide safer communities. You’ll manage memberships, facilitate collaboration, run community consultations, and drive activities aligned with the Collaborative’s Strategic Plan, ensuring long-term sustainability.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Community Engagement and/or Suicide Prevention.
  • Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience in working in the mental health or community services sector, generally a minimum of Certificate IV qualification.
  • Experience with program planning, development coordination and delivery.
  • Experience with data collection and reporting, production of high-level plans
  • Current valid Driver’s Licence and the ability to undertake significant travel for the role including overnight stays in rural locations
  • Appropriate IT skills, including knowledge of, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (free online course)
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children's Check (Employee/Paid)
