MINISTRY DEVELOPMENT (15 hours):
- Seminary Classes (10 hours)
- Cohort Experiences (2.5 hours)
- Admin/Support Raising (2.5 hours)
- Serving Opportunities – Sunday Service, Special Event Coordination (4 hours)
- Ministry Events – All Staff Meetings, Prayer Meetings, Worship Nights, Outreach Events (3 hours)
- Personal Ministry Expectations – Community Group, Evangelism, Disciple-making (3 hours)
- Determined by the Ministry Leader
In this application, you will go through a series of phases:
- Phase 1 - Apply (10-15 minutes questionnaire to collect more detailed employment information)

- Phase 2 - Ministry Assessment (~60-minute questionnaire covering topics related to being a ministry worker)
- Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will be sent an email with a link to complete your Ministry Assessment.

- The local supervisor(s) for this position will review your application, potentially reaching out to conduct an interview.
Upon provisional acceptance, you will register for support-raising training run by Reliant to start your support-based ministry journey.
Skills Required
- Complete Phase 1 application questionnaire
- Complete Phase 2 Ministry Assessment when invited (~60 minutes)
- Participate in seminary classes and cohort experiences
- Undergo local assessment and potential interview with supervisors
- Register for and complete Reliant support-raising training upon provisional acceptance
- Participate in scheduled ministry activities (services, staff meetings, prayer/worship nights, outreach)
What We Do
Reliant Mission partners with churches and nonprofits to support employed ministry programs, focusing on the development of character, skills, and doctrine. They provide participants with applicant assessment, support raising training, coaching, and employment-related guidance, while managing the salary and benefits for those in their short-term or two-year residency and internship programs.
