AMS is seeking a motivated professional to join our team as an Association Business Manager through a structured 24-month training and development program.

This opportunity is designed for someone who is interested in building a long-term career in HOA management and is willing to learn the responsibilities of managing a portfolio of homeowner and condominium associations.

Over the course of the 24-month training period, you will progressively develop the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to independently manage a portfolio of associations and work directly with Boards of Directors, homeowners, vendors, and internal teams.

Prior HOA management experience is preferred but is not required for this opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

During the 24-month training program, responsibilities will increase as you gain experience and demonstrate proficiency in association management.

  • Learn the day-to-day responsibilities of managing homeowner and condominium associations.
  • Assist experienced Association Business Managers with portfolio management responsibilities.
  • Learn how to prepare for and participate in Board meetings, including agendas, management reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Develop an understanding of association budgets and financial reporting in partnership with the Accounting team.
  • Learn how to coordinate vendor bids, contracts, maintenance projects, and community needs.
  • Participate in property inspections and learn how to identify and follow up on maintenance and compliance matters.
  • Respond to homeowner and Board inquiries while developing strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Learn association governing documents, compliance processes, and community management practices.
  • Build relationships with Boards of Directors, homeowners, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Progressively take on greater responsibility for assigned communities as skills and knowledge develop.
  • Participate in training, coaching, and professional development throughout the 24-month program.
  • Participate in after-hours phone coverage and attend evening Board meetings as needed.

HOA MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS:

Prior HOA, property management, community management, or related experience is preferred, but candidates with strong transferable experience and a demonstrated ability to learn may also be considered.
