As a Communications Specialist, you will be based at our headquarters in Keene, NH in a hybrid role, supporting the day-to-day management and execution of companywide communications channels. This role requires great attention to detail and a high level of enthusiasm. The role will focus on various facets of internal and external communications, including digital channel management, content strategy and social media. The role requires strong writing and communications skills, data analytics, technical acumen and experience in project management.

Job Description
  • Full-Time, Hybrid Role

  • Location: 7 Corporate Drive, Keene, NH 03431

You will contribute by:

  • Working with the Director of Communications, to ensure that C&S communications drive maximum engagement across all internal and external channels, elevating the Company’s brand.

  • Serving as the on-site HQ communications lead, supporting CEO/leadership videos in our studio, managing on-site photography, and posting and engaging on the HQ Beekeeper Site Stream. Partnering with the Specialist of Community Relations, to represent the Company in the local community.

  • Managing C&S’s digital communication channels, both internal and external, such as the Corporate LinkedIn page, Facebook accounts for Grand Union and Piggly Wiggly, the Beekeeper internal social app, cswg.com, digital signage, intranet, and the company newsletter.

  • Creating posts and contributing to the social media strategy to increase engagement, impressions, and followers. Collaborating with the creative team to develop visual content.

  • Tracking and measuring channel performance metrics to ensure alignment with intended outcomes, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Assisting in the implementation of functional and companywide communication plans, including managing shared mailboxes and distribution lists.

  • Partnering effectively with vendors and consultants as needed.

  • Traveling quarterly for team and/or business partner meetings.

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Communications, PR, or Journalism

  • A passion for communications and a strong understanding of current social trends

  • Experience working with external vendors and consultants

  • Excellent writing skills and proficiency in AP style

  • Strong communication and organizational skills; team-oriented mindset

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; highly detail-oriented

  • Experience using and engaging with a wide range of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)

  • Graphic design experience (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or a related field
