The Opportunity

Cochlear has an opportunity for a full-time Communications Specialist based in our Istanbul office. In this role, the successful Communications Specialist will manage online content, lead social media activities, and coordinate with PR agencies to elevate Cochlear’s presence in the market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing inbound customer queries over the phone from potential customers & commercial partners.
  • Preparing and updating the content of the Cochlear website and micro-sites, ensuring compliance with local laws and technical requirements.
  • Posting regularly on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, tracking feedback, and sharing monthly reports with relevant departments.
  • Managing budget tracking and implementation of Google Ads and Facebook advertisements and reporting on performance.
  • Collaborating with PR agencies to organise interviews, manage media relationships, and contribute to brand awareness initiatives.
  • Working with relevant departments to prepare content for posters, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Supporting the preparation of visual and written content for internal and external communication needs.

Essential:

  • Strong experience in managing website content and social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage relationships with PR agencies and other external partners.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and reporting for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of local laws regarding online content and data protection.

Ideal:

  • Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Background in event management and coordination.
  • Proficiency in Turkish and English.
