What is your impact?

The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing communication initiatives that support WebTPA's overall communications strategy. This role creates high-quality content across multiple channels, including email, intranet, web, social media, and print, while ensuring consistency with company messaging and brand standards. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization, the Communications Specialist supports employee communications, engagement programs, digital communications, and other initiatives that help inform, engage, and connect key audiences.

What Will You Be Doing: 

  • Digital Channels
    • Execute WebTPA’s social media strategy according to defined content calendar
    • Partner with Marketing team to support ongoing website management, including content updates, page creation, and ensuring alignment with brand, messaging, and user experience standards
    • Monitor digital channels, employee review sites, and social platforms for brand mentions and engagement opportunities, escalating issues when appropriate.
    • Support amplification of internal initiatives externally through coordinated use of social and digital platforms, where appropriate 
  • Employee Communications
    • Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications across channels (including email and intranet) to support organizational priorities, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned with company voice and strategy
    • Partner with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and leadership to coordinate communication needs and support organization initiatives
    • Coordinate logistics and communication deliverables for employee events, campaigns and announcements
    • Support the administration of WebTPA’s employee recognition program, including vendor coordination and communication execution
    • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of messaging across all internal communication channels
    • Edit and refine stakeholder communications to ensure alignment with brand standards, tone, and clarity
    • Monitor engagement and feedback across channels to continuously improve communication effectiveness and delivery 
  • Company Intranet
    • Draft, edit, and distribute intranet content as a core internal communications channel, ensuring information is current, accessible, and aligned with organizational messaging
    • Create audience-focused content that aligns with content that supports employee communications and business initiatives
    • Publish timely updates that complement and reinforce email communications and broader internal campaigns
    • Track intranet engagement metrics and audience feedback and provide reporting to support continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years related work experience. Experience Details: working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in Marketing, Web/Social media, or Communications role.
  • Related Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Public Relations preferred. Additional related equivalent work experience may be considered in substitute.  
  • Advanced skills in content writing with the ability to work with subject matter experts to grasp complex business subjects and effectively translate information. 
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and consider timely responsiveness a top priority with external entities, including clients, prospects, brokers, and vendors
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Quick learner who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly effective at multi-tasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Expert-level mastery of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Project management skills

General Physical Demands

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.


Physical/Environmental Activities

Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences). Occasionally
