Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a Communications Specialist II to develop strategic communications plans and materials to support our members, clients and partners. Our Specialist will be creating sales, marketing, and educational support materials, enterprise communications, web copy, and more across a variety of channels. This team member will lead projects and collaborate with internal clients and the Creative team to create quality materials on deadline, while working to preserve the corporate brand and style.
This position is based in Meridian Idaho, and offers hybrid work location (both onsite campus and work-from-home) or, fully onsite location.
To be considered for this opportunity, you have:
Required Experience: 4/+ years marketing and/or communications experience, to include AP writing and style guide. Familiarity with project management software is preferred (e.g. Workfront), as well as Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite. Previous communications experience in healthcare is also helpful.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or business-related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)
Your day to day may look like:
Assist in the development of communications to attract and educate new and existing members.
Work with stakeholders to establish and promote the company’s public image.
Ensure communications are in compliance with state, agency and federal regulations/guidelines.
Develop and execute a wide range of informational materials for internal and/or external audiences.
Establish and maintain company identity, design standards and policies.
Develop the content for written and visual communications.
Create, edit and proofread text and layout for internal and/or external publications.
Manage and execute internal and/or external communication strategies.
Work collaboratively with a creative team.
Coordinate with internal clients.
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $71,708 to $100,391. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance).
The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, internal equity, geography, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of offer.
