Reporting to the Director of Creative Services and working closely with all members of the Communications team and other departments, this positon will be responsible for a portfolio of activities, including design, production and distribution of marketing collateral and materials, such as fact sheets, brochures, newsletters, and other documents; media outreach; vendor coordination; ordering materials for events; working with internal subject matter experts to craft compelling stories for use in marketing materials, including video testimonials; Plan, lead and manage community and special events; Manage projects through entire process to achieve objectives and measure results; Serve as a communications resource to all departments and sites throughout Moses/Weitzman Health System; Understand and stay abreast of issues, both external and internal, that impact CHC. The position requires a person fluent in spoken and written Spanish and will include the ability to to translate materials into Spanish.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
  • Experience writing newsletters, blogs and press releases
  • Experience with event management support
  • Experience working with various vendors and community partners
  • Highly organized and skilled in handling administrative tasks
  • Excells at juggling multiple priorities at once

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a fluent in written and spoken Spanish and must pass a language exam to be administered by phone by ALTA Language Services, Inc. during the interview process.

B.A. required

1-3 years of relevant work experience.

Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment and possess high personal motivation, optimism, a strong work ethic, flexibility, and creativity.

The ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive multiple projects on deadline and within budget.

Excellent speaking and writing skills.

Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work may at times include outdoor events. Nights and weekend work may be required from time to time depending on event calendar. This is a hybrid role.
