BitGo is seeking a Communications Manager to lead and scale our email communications, public relations, and internal communications strategies. This role will design and execute external messaging, email nurturing flows, email one-off campaigns, and drive media engagement. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and an excellent writer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the nuances of financial technology and digital assets.
ResponsibilitiesEmail Marketing & Nurturing Campaigns:
- Develop and execute strategic email campaigns to engage and convert institutional and retail audiences.
- Build and optimize automated email workflows, including onboarding sequences, lead nurturing, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to craft compelling, high-performing email copy and layouts.
- Analyze email performance metrics and continuously optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
Internal Communications:
- Own BitGo’s internal communications strategy, ensuring company-wide alignment on key initiatives and messaging.
- Distribute internal newsletters, leadership updates, and announcements.
- Work closely with HR and leadership teams to drive engagement and ensure transparency across the organization.
- Support executive communications, including speeches, presentations, and internal briefings.
Public Relations & Media Support:
- Assist in developing and executing BitGo’s PR strategy, working closely with external agencies and media contacts.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content to elevate BitGo’s brand positioning.
- Prepare talking points and messaging for public-facing leadership and prepare them for their upcoming media opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and proactively identify opportunities for earned media and public relations initiatives.
- Support crisis communications and reputation management efforts.
Messaging & Brand Consistency:
- Ensure all external and internal communications align with BitGo’s brand voice and strategic messaging.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and growth teams to develop cohesive messaging across all customer touchpoints.
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely execution of communications initiatives.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in communications, PR, or email marketing, ideally in fintech, crypto, or financial services.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with experience crafting high-impact messaging for different audience segments.
- Expertise in email marketing tools (ex. Marketo) and CRM integration for automated workflows.
- Understanding of media relations, press outreach, and PR strategy.
- Experience managing internal communications and executive messaging.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure and optimize campaign performance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $140,000 and $160,000 USD base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus, and the benefits outlined above are also part of this role's package.
