The Role:
At Xceptor, we are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our marketing team. Your role will be crucial in managing media relations, guiding PR agencies, and generating compelling content that aligns with our business goals. A central figure in defining Xceptor's narrative across multiple platforms, you will also be instrumental in advocating for excellence and cultivating a goal-oriented mindset among our global marketing team members.
Salary Range: $100,000 to $125,000 pa. + Bonus + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Directly manage relationships with PR agencies to ensure unified communication and shared goals.
- Draft, refine, and ensure the quality of various communications materials, including but not limited to articles and videos.
- Provide vital support in crafting presentations, talking points, and internal communiques that uphold best practices in communication.
- Establish and maintain a proactive speaking and awards bureau.
- Collaborate closely with the Human Resources team to bolster employer branding and internal communication efforts, maintaining a cohesive and engaging brand voice.
- Advocate for communication best practices and drive a performance-focused ethos within the global marketing division.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of PR experience, preferably within financial services or tech, in either an in-house or agency setting.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating thought leadership and maintaining it.
- A strong ability to collaborate and a sense of accountability.
- Highly self-motivated and driven by results, exhibiting a proactive and positive approach to tasks.
- BA/BS required.
