We are seeking a motivated Communications Intern to support a dynamic team. This internship provides valuable exposure to strategic communications in a fast-paced healthcare environment while making a meaningful impact on patients and families. This role offers hands-on experience across both internal and external communications, with opportunities to contribute to meaningful storytelling that highlights patient care, clinical excellence and community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and editing content for internal newsletters, staff communications and leadership messages 
  • Support internal communications content development, messaging, and channel support
  • Support external communications efforts, including blog posts, media materials and website updates
  • Contribute to social media planning, content creation, and performance tracking across platforms 
  • Help coordinate campaigns, events and awareness initiatives 
  • Conduct research and compile insights to support communications strategies

     

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field 
  • Strong writing, editing and organizational skills 
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects 
  • Interest in healthcare, storytelling and mission-driven work
